Property law from Gullands in Maidstone

When buying a property it is important to seek legal advice before transferring ownership, so should be drawn up in writing and accompanied by the completion of a Property transfer Deed which should be filed with the Land Registry, which is why it is important to have a trusted solicitor such as Gullands in Maidstone.

If there is a mortgage on the property, the Land Registry will usually ask the lender to provide a letter to confirm they are happy with the terms of transfer and changes to ownership. Any changes need to be given in writing such as someone being removed from the co-ownership.

When purchasing my house I found that Gullands solicitors in Maidstone were extremely helpful in assisting me, and it is highly advisable to instruct a specialist property lawyer to carry out the process.
